By adapting the company to market needs, we have expanded our services with non-invasive cleaning of DPF, FAP and CAT filters. For this purpose, we have created a special technological line, thanks to which we can clean filters from cars, trucks, buses, machines and commercial vehicles. This process guarantees that the filter’s efficiency will be restored to the level of 98% without the need to cut it. The device allows to measure the level of contamination of the filter before and after the cleaning cycle and print the results of these tests, which allows you to clearly assess the effectiveness of the process. The filter disassembled from the vehicle is subjected to a cleaning process in which chemical agents and a stream of water of appropriate temperature and pressure are used. This removes all PM10 particles, deposits, deposits of oil, soot, ash and cerium (in the case of FAP filters). This is a very effective way that does not pose a risk of damage to the filter cartridge (which can happen in cleaning methods based on high temperature).
What is a DPF?
A Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is designed to reduce the soot emissions from a vehicle’s exhaust systems by up to 80%. The introduction of Euro 5 emissions legislation saw DPF technology became mandatory for all diesel vehicle type approvals from September 2011 and new cars from January 2013. As a result, MOT testing stations have had to check for a DPF in the inspection of the exhaust system as part of the MOT test since February 2014.
